今日は、私たち全員に影響を与えている物価の上昇についてお話ししたいと思います。 ガソリン、外食、特に食料品でその影響を感じています。インフレーションは誰にとっても心配の種です。
私の英語教室のオーナーグループでは、この2年間でほとんどのスクールが月謝を月額500円または1,000円値上げしました。みなさんは、他の習い事でも同じような経験をされていますか？ 家庭にとって、毎月500～1,000円の増加は大きく感じることがあるでしょう。
しかし、Eigo Dayでは、月謝の値上げを行いません。
Eigo Day 英会話スクールは毎年5月に年会費を1,320円だけ値上げすることを決めました。月額にすると100円（税別）で、自動販売機での飲み物1本よりも安い金額です！2023年4月には6,600円だった年会費は、2024年には7,920円、そして今年は9,240円になります。この値上げは、Eigo Dayの運営費用の増加を少しでも賄うためのものです。
Eigo Day 英会話スクールの生徒のみなさんが、家庭の経済状況を私たちが理解していることを感じていただければ幸いです。それでもEigo Dayは、英語力をより早く伸ばすという目標を達成するために、質と価値を向上させる努力を続けています。

Today, I’d like to discuss rising prices that are affecting all of us. We see it in our gasoline, our trips to restaurants, and especially groceries. Inflation worries everyone.
In my Eikaiwa owner groups, almost all the schools have raised their tuition fees over the last two years, usually by 500 yen or 1,000 yen per month. Have you experienced this with any of your other 習い事? For a family, a monthly 500-1,000 yen increase can feel big. At “Eigo Day”, we aren’t changing our tuition fees.
We decided to simply raise our 年会費 every year in May by 1,320 yen. That’s 100 yen per month (plus tax), less than one drink at a vending machine! Our 年会費 was 6,600 yen in April 2023, 7,920 yen in 2024, and will be 9,240 yen this year. We are using this increase to try and cover “Eigo Day’s” price increases.
I hope our students can see that we sympathize with the economic environment families are facing. Yet, “Eigo Day” strives to increase our quality and value to reach our goal of helping students increase their English ability at a ever faster pace.
